The National Confederation of Tourism highlights investment opportunities at Morocco–Croatia economic meeting
The meeting took place in the presence of Mehdi Tazi, General Vice President of CGEM, and Tomislav Radoš, Deputy President of HGK, bringing together business leaders from Morocco and Croatia.
This initiative reflects the shared commitment of both countries to strengthen economic relations and explore new opportunities for cooperation and investment.
Presentation of Morocco’s tourism sector by the CNT
During the meeting, Hamid Bentahar, President of The National Confederation of Tourism, delivered a presentation on Morocco’s tourism sector.
His presentation highlighted the recent performance of the Moroccan tourism industry, the sector’s strong growth momentum and Morocco’s strategic positioning as one of the leading tourism destinations in the region.
He also outlined the investment opportunities across the tourism ecosystem, emphasizing Morocco’s ambition to further develop tourism infrastructure, diversify its tourism offer and strengthen international partnerships.
Exploring new partnership opportunities
The Croatian delegation represented several strategic sectors including renewable energy, tourism, pharmaceuticals and new technologies.
Discussions included presentations on Morocco’s business climate and investment environment, highlighting the country’s attractiveness as a destination for international investors.
Participants also emphasized the complementarity between the Moroccan and Croatian economies and the opportunities for cooperation in sectors such as energy, real estate, tourism, wood industry, pharmaceuticals and new technologies.
Strengthening economic bridges between Africa and Europe
The meeting also highlighted Morocco’s role as a strategic gateway to African markets, offering Croatian companies access to one of the most dynamic regions in the world.
Conversely, Croatia can facilitate access for Moroccan businesses to Central and Southern European markets, creating mutually beneficial opportunities for trade and investment.
The meeting, which will also be marked by the participation of Luka Burilović, President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, aims to identify concrete partnership and investment opportunities between Moroccan and Croatian companies.
Through initiatives such as this, The National Confederation of Tourism continues to promote Morocco’s tourism sector internationally and support the development of strategic partnerships that contribute to the sustainable growth of the industry.
